February 13 -- We're heading to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic today, arriving tomorrow, along with 17 family members to celebrate Con's 80th birthday! Ever since Con and I got together, 2022, this has been a dream of mine. At the time, it was just the two of us and our four daughters. Today, we gathered with three of our four daughters, four of our five grandchildren, along with spouses, girl friends, and bonus grandkids and one fiance'.

Brit coordinated a collection of stories and pictures telling the story of "Con" filling page after page with messages of a man living life right. She also prearranged that everyone had an engraved towel with everyone's individual name on it, along with our own thermal cups. There was something for everyone at the Dreams Resort. We'd booked into the exclusive section making it easy to group ourselves together on the sand or by the pool. Volleyball, water polo, suntans, all the drinks and food we could manage and top-class entertainment at the end of the night. Con and I woke early each morning and headed to the coffee station for cappuccinos and orange juice followed by placing towels on our designated section. We celebrated both Con and Nolan birthdays. Nolan turned 18.
